Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Flora discovered biodynamic craniosacral therapy over 10 years ago and found being met with skilful, slow, listening touch restorative, life-affirming and liberating. It was so transformative she decided to become a practitioner.
She studied at Body College London with Steve Haines and Jane Shaw before doing postgraduate courses on working with trauma, intergenerational patterns of experience, and imprints from birth and in utero. She has learned from leading practitioners in the field informed by the latest clinical research in neurobiology, and also from her own self-exploration and life experience.
Her approach is one of non-judgemental witness meeting whole people with equanimity and loving kindness. Knowing there can be no healing without feeling, she helps people attune to their body sensations and move towards safety, freeing the body’s phenomenal ability to heal itself.
She has a special interest in the link between autonomic nervous system dysfunction and presenting physical conditions and emotional challenges. She is sensitive to the complexities of body/mind health in a troubled world and is devoted to leading herself and others along the path towards a life fully felt, fully expressed.
Flora has 15 years experience working as a dancer, writer & educator. Alongside craniosacral therapy, her creative practice includes performing, co-directing Nora and facilitating laughter yoga and improvisation classes online and in person. She holds an M.A. in Performance from London Contemporary Dance School/University of Kent.
Flora practices at Bodywise on Fridays from 1-5pm.
Adults: £90 (1hr)
Babies & children: First session £90 (1hr), subsequent sessions £75 (45 mins)
24 hr cancellation policy applies.
