Remedial Therapy

Remedial therapy is the therapeutic treatment of soft tissues including muscles, ligaments and tendons by means of massage and the mobilization of joints. It helps to prevent and treat musculoskeletal conditions and promotes the body's own healing and defense systems by improving circulation and restoring nutrients needed for healthy tissues. Remedial massage can also be used for general wellbeing, helping with the kind of discomfort that many of us take as part of daily living.

Martina is a senior student at London School of Osteopathy. She has several years practice working at the clinic attached to the school. She is interested in general remedial therapy with orientation to female patients suffering from female health issues (period pain, endometriosis, etc). In addition to it, as a long distance runner herself she is well acquainted with sports injuries.
