Reiki

Reiki is a form of healing which is said to be guided by a 'universal life force'. When we are well and our body is in a state of equilibrium this energy flows through us in an unobstructed way. If one part of us becomes unwell, the whole of our system becomes unblanced. Reiki is a holistic form of healing because it addresses mind, body and spirit. When receiving Reiki treatment, the energy is said to go where it is needed. The practitioner is the channel for Reiki; Reiki remains the healer. The recipient remains fully clothed throughout the session.

• Helen has been practising Reiki since 1997. She became an Usui Reiki Master in 2001 and a Karuna Reiki Master in 2003.

  Helen has been practising Reiki since 1997, is an Usui and Karuna Master, and a Master/Teacher member of the UK Reiki Federation. As well as offering individual treatments, she regularly conducts attunements at all levels and also runs a monthly Reiki share group.

  She is also a qualified counsellor and can work with a combination of Reiki and counselling to release, process and heal physically, emotionally and spiritually.

  Rosemary Lamb qualified as a reiki practitioner having received first and second degree trainings from the Usui Reiki Network. She is also a qualified reflexologist - training at the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR), and is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR). She is also a qualified practitioner of Champissage™ (‘champi’ means head massage in Hindi), and Natural Facelift Massage™. She trained with the founders of these therapies at the London Centre of Indian Champissage International (LCICI). Rosemary sees clients at Bodywise on Monday evenings and charges £45 for 1 hour or £60 for 90 minutes for reiki.
