Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

What is EFT?

Developed by Gary Craig in the USA, EFT is the leading technique referred to as ‘Energy Psychology’ and has been developed from the ancient Chinese Meridian energy system. It’s a form of emotional acupuncture without the use of needles and is based on the premise that ‘all negative emotions are a result of a disruption in the body’s energy system’.

How does it work?

It works by clearing blockages or disruption by tapping on the body’s energy meridians (while thinking about a specific issue). The tapping sends pulses of energy to rebalance the body’s energy system in relation to the specific issue you were thinking about. Tapping while tuned into the issue is like rerouting the brain’s negative response and shifts the energy. EFT also works in the same way to release limiting thoughts and beliefs that stifle your health, happiness and life.
